Montpellier Taupe is a limestone-effect tile inspired by our Madras limestone, designed to give the look of aged stone in a more refined indoor finish. The edges are softer and more controlled than the outdoor version, creating a neater overall look while still keeping a slightly worn feel.

There’s light variation between tiles, with taupe tones blending warm grey and beige, along with subtle surface markings that add interest without making the floor feel busy. It works well across larger areas and keeps a natural, balanced look once laid.

With eight face patterns to reduce repetition and a PTV rating of 36+, it’s a practical option for kitchens, hallways and open-plan spaces.

The taupe tone works easily with both warm and cool finishes, pairing well with painted cabinetry, wood and neutral interiors, making it a straightforward choice for both traditional and modern settings.

Due to the production methods used, all porcelain & ceramic tiles (including decorative & glazed) can exhibit size variation between batches, as well as variance in both straightness and flatness. Therefore all sizes are nominal. This variance is minimal but it can become more noticeable on larger format tiles. As porcelain tiles are fired they can have a slight bow or warp. To avoid emphasising any warpage, if staggering joints this should be by a maximum of 30% of the overall tile length. Larger tiles should not be laid 'brick-bond'.
