Ordering FAQs
If you have any questions about placing an order, what to do when your tiles arrive, or visiting our showrooms? Take a look at the information here to find everything you need right here to shop with confidence.
Ordering
Before you place your order, double check that the product's size, thickness, and style suit your project. If you're on a tight deadline, please get in touch to ask about stock — most items are usually available, but sometimes there might be a wait. You can also request samples, visit a showroom, speak to our knowledgeable team, or browse photos to make sure you are happy with your decision.
To get a quote, simply contact our team. Quotes are usually valid for up to 30 days but we don’t reserve stock until the order is paid for. When you’re ready, you can order online, by phone, email, or in person.
We can ship most orders within 3–5 working days after payment. If your delivery needs special equipment like a crane, it might take a little longer. You can also pick up your order from our Head Office by appointment. If something’s out of stock, we’ll let you know the estimated wait time and suggest alternatives if needed. We can hold your order for you if you aren't quite ready to take the delivery. Just speak with our teal. After you place your order our delivery team will contact you to discuss everything before the delivery is confirmed.
Want to make changes? No problem, just let us know before you pay. After that, changes might be tricky or come with a small fee.
To be safe, we recommend ordering about 10–15% extra to cover cutting and any little mishaps. Ordering from one batch helps keep colours and sizes consistent across your project.
Showroom Orders
You don’t need an appointment to visit our showrooms, but if you have multiple rooms to choose tiles for, it is a good idea to let us know you are coming so we can prepare for your visit. You can email us your plans ahead of the visit to help with this.
You can place your order in the showroom with our team. You can take samples home to help you decide if needed. To get the most from your visit, bring along any floor plans, design ideas, colours or measurements you have.
If you’re on a budget, we have discounted tiles from our end of line outlet but not all these tiles can be viewed in every showroom. So if you'd like to see anything from our clearance outlet, please give us a call and we can arrange to have the particular tile delivered to a convenient showroom for you to view. Or you can visit our clearance outlet in North Yorkshire.
Our friendly team are always ready to offer advice and inspiration to help you find the perfect tiles for your project!

Unpacking Your Order
Before installation, it’s a good idea to unpack all crates or pallets and mix the tiles together. This helps balance out any natural variation in colour or pattern, especially with patterned ceramic and porcelain tiles, which often come in a random mix, so laying them out first ensures your design looks just right.
While we carefully pack every order, tiles can be fragile and may occasionally get damaged in transit. If anything looks broken or missing, please let us know straight away; just take a few clear photos and don’t install any damaged or incorrect tiles. We’ll arrange quick replacements. You might also find a few extra or broken tiles in your delivery; these are included on purpose to help in your installation and can be used as cuts. These will be listed on your delivery note. Please report any issues within 7 days of delivery (or within 48 hours if you’re a trade customer).
When unpacking, check all tiles carefully and keep them stored indoors or somewhere covered to protect the edges. Stack them vertically (on their edge) and avoid placing them directly on hard surfaces. Be careful when removing any spacers or banding as tiles may fall and having someone to help makes things safer and easier.
If you’re working with natural stone tiles, don’t worry if they look a little darker at first; that’s just a bit of moisture from the cutting process. They’ll dry out naturally and reveal their true colour. Minor edge chips can sometimes happen during handling, which is totally normal and easy to work around, those pieces are perfect to use as cuts during installation.
