Montpellier Taupe is a limestone-effect tile inspired by our Madras limestone, designed to bring a natural stone look to outdoor spaces. The tumbled finish and irregular edges give it a more aged appearance, creating a less uniform and more characterful finish.
There’s subtle variation between tiles, with taupe tones blending warm grey and beige, along with natural surface markings. With eight face patterns to reduce repetition and frost resistance for outdoor use, it sits comfortably in garden settings and works well with stone, timber and planting.
Due to the production methods used, all porcelain & ceramic tiles (including decorative & glazed) can exhibit size variation between batches, as well as variance in both straightness and flatness. Therefore all sizes are nominal. This variance is minimal but it can become more noticeable on larger format tiles. As porcelain tiles are fired they can have a slight bow or warp. To avoid emphasising any warpage, if staggering joints this should be by a maximum of 30% of the overall tile length. Larger tiles should not be laid 'brick-bond'.
