Victoriana Cotto & Nero Chequer combines warm terracotta tones and deep black porcelain tiles in a classic 100x100mm square format. The softly varied colouring and simple matt finish create a traditional chequerboard tile design that works across both contemporary spaces and more traditional interiors.

Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, boot rooms and hallways, these cotto and black chequer tiles can be laid in a classic chequerboard pattern to create a striking yet understated floor.

With an R11 slip rating, Victoriana Cotto & Nero Chequer porcelain tiles are suitable for walls and floors, including wet areas and some outdoor spaces, thanks to their frost-proof and slip-resistant surface.

Due to the production methods used, all porcelain & ceramic tiles (including decorative & glazed) can exhibit size variation between batches, as well as variance in both straightness and flatness. Therefore all sizes are nominal. This variance is minimal but it can become more noticeable on larger format tiles. As porcelain tiles are fired they can have a slight bow or warp. To avoid emphasising any warpage, if staggering joints this should be by a maximum of 30% of the overall tile length. Larger tiles should not be laid 'brick-bond'.
